On March 11, 2026, the Faculty of Technology welcomed Prof. Dr. Siegfried Zürn from the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen, Germany, for an insightful guest lecture titled “Systems Thinking for Higher Education.”

Held at the Department of Nano Science Technology Auditorium, the event drew a diverse crowd of academic staff and students eager to explore systemic approaches to modern academia.

About the Speaker: Dr. Zürn serves as the Director of the International Centre and Graduate School at Esslingen University. With a PhD in Natural Sciences and an MA in Business Consulting, his expertise spans:

• Industrial Project & Quality Management
• Sustainability and Digital Transformation
• Systems Thinking Modelling in Management

He is notably recognized for developing high-impact business games and simulations used globally in both corporate training and higher education.
