2-Day Innovation Workshop and Hackathon for the 10th Intake

The Faculty of Technology (FOT) recently welcomed its 10th batch of undergraduates with an intensive 2-Day Innovation Workshop and Group Hackathon. This initiative was specifically designed to introduce incoming students to the faculty’s dynamic academic environment while immediately immersing them in practical, project-based learning.

The core objective of the workshop was to provide students with foundational, hands-on experience in modern electronics and computing. Throughout the two-day program, participants engaged in comprehensive sessions focusing on:

  • The architecture and programming of microcontrollers.
  • Real-world applications and practical scenarios involving embedded systems.
  • Collaborative problem-solving and technical execution.

Following the instructional workshops, the students participated in a group hackathon to apply their newly acquired skills. Teams were challenged to conceptualize, design, and build functional prototypes based on their own original ideas.

Faculty evaluators assessed the projects based on technical competency, creativity, and the successful execution of their builds. Following a rigorous review of all team submissions, three winning teams were identified and recognized for their outstanding innovative solutions.

The Faculty of Technology warmly congratulates the winning teams and commends the entire 10th batch for their enthusiasm and dedication during this introductory event. This workshop underscores the FOT’s ongoing commitment to producing highly skilled, future-ready technologists equipped to meet the demands of the modern industrial landscape.
