The Wayamba University Engineering Technology Research Symposium WUETecS) is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Technology, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, providing a platform for final-year undergraduates to present their research findings.
The symposium features multiple oral and poster presentation sessions, where a panel of judges evaluates each presentation and recognizes outstanding contributions by awarding certificates. Additionally, all accepted oral presenters’ manuscripts are published in the symposium proceedings. Alongside the research presentations, a Product Showcase is organized to exhibit innovative projects developed by students during their undergraduate studies.
Since its inception, WUETecS has successfully hosted two symposiums and one product showcase, fostering a culture of research, innovation, and knowledge sharing. This symposium serves as an excellent opportunity for students to refine their presentation skills, enhance their professional growth, and develop leadership abilities.
